Realising the need of the Indian silk industry, CSB-CSTRI has an elaborate testing facility primarily aimed at quality improvement. It provides testing services in the areas of physical, chemical and eco-parameters.<br \/>The textile testing laboratory comprises of\u00a0 Physical Testing\u00a0 Division,\u00a0 Chemical Testing Division. Both divisions of the laboratory has received ISO\/IEC 17025 Accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). NABL, a Government of India body under the Department of Science and Technology.
